Equal Marriage Champaign County Participates in U of I Quad Day
In August 2006, volunteers from Equal Marriage Chamapign County spoke with hundreds of people at the University of Illinois' Quad Day. Quad Day is an immensely popular and festive event, with hundreds of booths from student organizations, community organizations, and university departments. Over the course of the day, thousands of people visited the booths that were spread throughout the quad. Equal Marriage volunteers spoke with several hundred people and collected signatures for the "I Support Equal Marriage" signature campaign.
